Healthy Eating is about eating smart and enjoying your food.To build a Healthy Meal, you should follow a balance diet. According to Dietitian, a balance diet is a combination of 50% fruit and vegetables, 25% protein-rich food and 25% whole-grain and fiber-rich carbohydrates. The dietary needs to individual at different life stages. For example -

10 Tips to build a Healthy Meal: Simple tips to build your diet healthier and balanced for an Active Lifestyle and transform your eating habits with these easy tips-

  1. Make half your plate with fruits and vegetables including red,orange and dark-green veggies such as broccoli, orange, carrot, apple etc.
  2. Including whole grains. It provides more nutrients like fiber.
  3. Always remember dairy food like milk, curd, yogurt. Milk should be fat-free or low fat. It will give same amount of calcium as whole milk but fewer calories.
  4. Avoid extra fat and try to steamed and boiled green-veggies .
  5. Choose protein food such as chicken, egg, nuts, beans or tofu.
  6. Try to find ways to make something healthier instead of making cheese, pasta, sandwich etc.
  7. Never forget to put more water in your regular routine.
  8. Avoid butter and use healthy oil ( olive oil or canola oil ) for cooking and salad. 
  9. Never forget to add dry fruits in your diet ( specially in breakfast ).
  10. Try alternate-day fasting ( juice, fruits and veggies should include during the fasting ).
